Owe Mickey reimagines one of the world’s most recognizable icons through the lens of abstraction. Inspired by @muttermilk’s reinterpretations of Disney characters, this piece portrays Mickey Mouse in mid-fall, fractured and restyled with a cubist, geometric approach that bends form and perspective. The result is both familiar and strikingly new—an exploration of balance, movement, and distortion.

Created in 2024, the canvas was hand-painted with acrylic-based paints, layered in matte, gloss, and satin finishes to add contrast and dimension. The entire 11” x 14” piece is sealed with a gloss finish, giving the bold shapes and colors a crisp, polished surface.
